Victoria Mini is one of our signature bags carried by SEVDA lovers since 2008, when it was born. We call it our "best friend" simply because it goes with every outfit, big enough to carry our iPad, smart phone, and all of our daily belongings, and small enough to wear along with a lovely evening dress for special occasions. This versatile mini bag is always by our side, every time we leave home and throughout our day and night… a true companion.
Summer Dream - Embrace bright colours this summer and wow in an all orange outfit, topped off with a tan and a SEVDA scarf of course, as featured in L'Officiel Thailand.
I am a very sensitive, and emotional person. And very reserved. I mostly keep my feelings to myself; at least until I am ready to share them with the world, or perhaps never to be shared. I believe I am also very romantic! I love red wine and I love enjoying it with my friends and family. I always want to be surrounded by people with whom I feel comfortable. I have always been determined; if I really want something, I have to get it. I don't mind working very hard until I succeed. And I never stop dreaming.
TRUE BLUES - Our SEVDA LONDON silk scarf in blue features in L'Officiel Thailand Magazine this month. Designed to be the perfect accompaniment to your SEVDA LONDON handbag, all our scarves are created in Lake Como Italy and are inspired by Sevda's childhood memories of her summers spent in an English garden.

Back in 2010, the first time I had visited New York City, I absolutely fell in love with its charm and elegance. It was also an honor and a once in a lifetime experience to be selected as one of the top 5 designer finalists in the 'Best Handbag in Overall Style & Design' category in NYC. This event led me to countless opportunities in my career. She was the one who encouraged me to attend the Independent Handbag Designer Awards. And now she is still the one who continues to inspire me and many others through The Emerging Designer Network she has founded. It is my privilege to introduce you to Melissa Hall and her philosophy of her success.
Melissa Hall tells us her story...
We are all obsessed with fashion. We all love to keep our wardrobe up to date with trends. But, I am extremely sorry to say, some of us prefer fashion over style. And multiples of quite cheap products over the ethically-made ones.
Let's face it, fashion is a never ending process and we all have dozens of clothes, shoes, bags loaded into our wardrobe. Too many pieces purchased on impulse, for seasonal or only for an occasion, and yet they are hidden in the back of your wardrobe, forgotten and worn only once. It is a big SHAME! Because, in the end, these garments find themselves in the bin, replaced with the new ones. They are never deeply loved. We call this familiar experience for all of us, "Fast Fashion."
Wouldn't it be fascinating to have your own line, enjoyed by the masses, and mentioned by top editors? Imagine seeing your handbags worn by celebrities on the red carpet. You and your handbags are all over the headlines of the top magazines. It is such a great feeling, isn't it? The reality always starts with dreams. You can turn yourself into the person you always want to be, but dreaming is not enough. You need to start realizing your dreams, act upon them, but watch your steps while you climb to the top. Based on my own past and present experiences, and to help you avoid the mistakes, as well as highlight the successes, here are my 10 important points before you set up your handbag business.
